What this policy covers

This policy explains how Personably(“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles data when you visit personably.app(the “Site”), request an audit, or participate in a founding pilot. The Site and pilot are operated by NorthSignal Studio.

Public website (personably.app)

Lead capture (audit form)

When you submit the Customer Decision Audit form, we collect your store URL and email address. We store these in a secure database and use them to:

• Research public storefront signals for a lifecycle decision
• Send you a report email with the evidence and next step
• Optionally follow up about Personably if you indicated interest

We use Personably's own domain (personably.app) for these emails. Unsubscribing is one click. We never sell, rent, or share your lead data with third parties.

Cookies and tracking

The public Site does not set tracking cookies or run behavioral pixels. We do not use third-party ad trackers on personably.app. If analytics are enabled, they are first-party and anonymized.

Founding pilot and connected merchant data

What data the pilot processes

When a founding pilot connects a merchant's commerce and delivery systems, Personably processes only the data needed for the agreed workflow, which may include:

• Customer and event context: orders, products, engagement, consent and suppression state, and other signals the merchant authorizes for the decision.
• Customer identity: identifiers needed to reconcile records across the connected systems. The merchant remains the controller of its customer data.
• Merchant configuration: store domain, Klaviyo connection status, and plan tier.

Consent

The pilot does not require a forced ESP cutover. The merchant is responsible for its consent notices, lawful basis, and suppression rules; Personably applies the agreed constraints before a reviewed treatment reaches the delivery rail.

Data sharing

The reviewed decision or message plan is handed to the merchant's existing delivery system. Personablydoes not sell, rent, or pool shopper data across merchants and does not use one merchant's data to train another merchant's brand voice.

Data retention

Pilot customer and event data is retained only for the agreed workflow and reporting period. Lead-capture submissions from the public Site are retained until a deletion request is received or the lead is no longer needed for the requested report and follow-up.

GDPR / data subject rights

If a connected merchant system provides privacy or deletion webhooks, we process them according to the pilot agreement:

• Data request: a merchant or data subject can request a copy of stored data.
• Data erasure: a data subject can request deletion of data that is not required for a documented legal or operational purpose.
• Merchant offboarding: when a pilot ends, we follow the agreed export and deletion process.
