What this policy covers

This policy explains how Personably(“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles data when you visit personably.app (the “Site”) or use the PersonablyShopify app (the “App”). The Site and App are operated by NorthSignal Studio.

Public website (personably.app)

Lead capture (audit form)

When you submit the Welcome Email Revenue Audit form, we collect your store URL and email address. We store these in a secure database and use them to:

• Generate your Welcome Flow Health Score and revenue estimate
• Send you a one-time report email with your results
• Optionally follow up about Personably if you indicated interest

We use Personably's own domain (personably.app) for these emails. Unsubscribing is one click. We never sell, rent, or share your lead data with third parties.

Cookies and tracking

The public Site does not set tracking cookies or run behavioral pixels. We do not use third-party ad trackers on personably.app. If analytics are enabled, they are first-party and anonymized.

Shopify App (merchant data)

What data the App processes

When a Shopify merchant installs the App, the App processes:

• Shopper browsing behavior: pages viewed, products viewed, collections viewed, cart actions, and checkout events, captured by a consent-aware web pixel on the merchant's storefront.
• Shopper identity: anonymous visitor IDs (browser-local, no cross-site tracking); email addresses when the shopper identifies at checkout.
• Merchant configuration: store domain, Klaviyo connection status, and plan tier.

Consent

The pixel honors Shopify's Customer Privacy API. In regions where explicit consent is required, no data is collected until the shopper opts in. The pixel respects Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Events flagged as consent-not-granted are dropped server-side.

Data sharing

Shopper intent data is written to the merchant's own Klaviyo account as profile properties and metric events. Personablydoes not send marketing emails on the merchant's behalf. Personably does not sell, rent, or pool shopper data across merchants.

Data retention

Raw shopper browsing events are retained for up to 90 days. Aggregated intent classifications and session-level features may be retained while the merchant remains active. Lead-capture submissions from the public Site are retained until a deletion request is received.

GDPR / data subject rights

The App implements Shopify's mandatory privacy compliance webhooks:

• Data request: merchants can request a copy of a shopper's stored data.
• Data erasure: shoppers can request deletion of their data, which cascades to all associated records.
• Shop redact: when a merchant uninstalls the App, their store data is fully deleted within approximately 48 hours.
